Other usage scenarios

This may have been a common usage scenario of reverse proxies back in 2010, however I see this picture used in the article Cloudbleed. That happens to be a different usage scenario, where the reverse proxy is located outside of the webserver's internal network. I even operate a webserver based on a third usage scenario, where the reverse proxy and the application server are within the same machine and they communicate via localhost.
