This is a beautiful image, but unfortunately, it is scientifically inaccurate. On this cartoon, the mRNA appears to go through the large ribosomal subunit, which also appears to carry the A- and P-site tRNAs. This is not the case, as the mRNA and A and P site are on the small ribosomal subunit. This is a pity, as this image is used in several wikipedia project. --Fdardel (talk) 21:37, 2 February 2010 (UTC)
