Editorializing through editing

Does anyone agree with me that this is a very unflattering photo? The subject is looking directly at the camera, mouth turned down, teeth askew, nametag crooked... it appears unsettling and threatening and, when used in an article, can make an negative editorial statement on it.

I suggest deletion and replacement with something less ugly. We don't want a book-jacket publicist's photo but there's got to be another picture of him lecturing somewhere.
