Backgammon isn't really said to be the oldest game even its own time line goes through protogames. There are game pieces attributable to 6000-7000 BC some 3000 years before the earliest relative of backgammon. And 2000 years before earliest known dice.90.193.131.239 23:49, 19 July 2012 (UTC)
