Comment regarding the map

[編輯]

The map might mislead those who are not familiar enough with the topic of the Russian aggression agains Ukraine. The map allegedly shows the Russian-occupied territories of Ukraine (numbers 4 - Crimean Autonomous Republic, 8 - Kherson Oblast, 7 - Zaporizhzhia Oblast, 6 - Donetsk Oblast, 5 - Luhansk Oblast), but in reality it show the Russian territorial claims towards Ukraine. All depicted regions (except number 4) are only occupied partially by Russia. The city of Zaporizhzhia is remaining free and under Ukrainian control, the north-west part of the Kherson Oblast (number 8) was liberated by the Ukrainian forces, the western part of the Donetsk Oblast (number 6) including such big cities as Bakhmut, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk are remaining free and under Ukrainian control, some villages in the north-west part of the Luhansk Oblast (number 5) were liberated by the Ukrainian army. So what this map depicts in reality and why it is called as "Russian-occupied territories in map.jpg"? Andrii Gladii (對話) 12:06, 8 November 2022 (UTC)[回覆]
