Any particular reason to think these are Scottish solders and not Irish? The German text in the image clearly states that 800 Irish arrive in Stettin. 67.182.14.249
- well, it ties back to actual units, which were Scottish, but comes from a time when Highlanders were called Erse as much as Hibernians were. More importantly, "Irren" now means "madman" at least as much as it does "Irishman;" that could be relevant, too.Anmccaff (トーク) 06:20, 15 November 2015 (UTC)
