Nitpicking here: but the map (in german obviously) states which areas were occupied (besetzt) on a time basis. However, technically most of those areas where /liberated/ from German occupation. The term occupied should only be used for areas that where considered German by all parties in the war. If the picture was ever to be changed or replaced, please take this in account.
