The shotgun in the photograph appears to be a Mossberg 500; the safety mounted on the top rear of the receiver and the attachment of the barrel into the end of the magazine tube are the distinguishing characteristics of the Model 500 family. The barrel is an 18.5 inch cylinder bore with a bead sight. The shotgun is a Mossberg because the other models used by the US military (Winchester, Ithica, and Remington) use frame mounted safeties. While the current mil-spec model by Mossberg is the 590A1, that uses a visually different method of attaching the barrel to the magazine tube, so this is a standard model 500, and may pre-date the 590 series. — 以上未签名的留言是由该用户加入的: 75.60.114.165 (留言 • 贡献) 16:48, 12 February 2007 (UTC)[回复]
