I assume the colours run from red at one end, orange then yellow, green being neutral, followed by cyan and indigo-blue, and magenta at the opposite terminal, yes?

But.. what do the white and black colours represent? I thought maybe red extended through pink into white, and magenta through darker purple/maroon into black, e.g. signifying +/- 40 Gal (if red/magenta are 30, orange/indigo 20, yellow/cyan 10 and green 0, for example), but then there seem to be a number of areas where there are "seams" of white butting up against black. Would those be e.g. subduction faults, so presenting a sharp, full range deflection at the joint, or is it that those colours and their junctions mean something else? 209.93.141.17 20:59, 11 September 2017 (UTC)[返信]
