Notes on revised 2016 version of logo

The file I uploaded on 2017-06-15 contains the original Square, Inc. logo on a locked, hidden layer, as well as the revised appearance adopted by the company sometime in 2016. The file now at Brands of the World purports to be the new version, according to the thumbnail, but when the Adobe Illustrator file is compared to the one I used in July 2015, it is identical, i.e., it has not been updated. With no vector logo available directly from Square, Inc., I modified the earlier SVG logo file using their proprietary SQMarket font, freely available from a GitHub repository, to create a very, very close facsimile.
