Can it be confirmed that this is explicitly a Swedish photograph and thus public domain? This image also appears in the official report of the 1956 Winter Olympics published by the (Italian) Games organising committee. I think that unless it's certain this was taken by a Swedish photographer, it would be wise to err on the side of caution and treat this as a possibly copyrighted image.
