Half of the lines just end in the ocean. Nobody spends money to lay a cable that ends nowhere. This must be wrong. I checked there are no islands at those locations. --Jahobr (留言) 15:50, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[回复]

Response of 198.120.224.68: Some of the cables represented were incomplete in the mapping stage; they do not go to "nowhere", they are merely incomplete when this image was captured.
Could the sources of this plot please be revealed? I think the file in the current unfished state is not fit for purpose. I am afraid it is more misleading as educating.--Jahobr (留言) 15:59, 2 October 2019 (UTC)[回复]
