The NBA Finals wordmark logo only consists of simple geometric shapes and text, and thus does not meet the threshold of originality needed for copyright protection, and is therefore in the public domain. Other NBA Finals logos may include the normal NBA logo and/or drawings of the O'Brien NBA Championship Trophy, which do fall under copyright and thus not eligible to be permitted here on Commons.
