Licensing: According to Stifle on the OTRS noticeboard, using OTRS is not necessary. (picture taken by my great-uncle, my father inherited the rights, he asked me to upload the files):

If you sent the images as an attachment to permissions-commons, they will be redirected to the photosubmission queue where there is a 5-month backlog. Just to clarify it: The referenced book does not contain the picture, it contains a description of the Laconia incident and diary entries from the photographer
