Fred the Oyster, could you please tweak this SVG drawing a bit so it receives a grayscale color scheme that's now common to the whole set of USB connector/plug drawings? That would place a cherry on top. :) — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 16:09, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

I was wondering about this one myself and was thinking of doing it, the problem was that apart from the 'clips' at the side I couldn't see any tangible difference from the Micro-AB receptacle I did yesterday. I didn't want to colour it only to end up with, basically, two identical files. --Fred the Oyster (留言) 18:03, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

If we have a close look at the Micro-AB and Micro-B sockets (I've included them here for a quick reference), it's pretty much clear that the Micro-AB socket is more rectangular in shape, while the Micro-B socket is tapered. Thus, I'd say that the difference in shape isn't an issue. Oh, and thanks for fixing my typo in the section title. :) — Dsimic (talk | contribs) 18:22, 16 October 2014 (UTC)

@Dsimic: It turned out that it wasn't a simple matter to colour the file as the artwork was badly done and paths not joined up etc, so it was easier to do it over from scratch using the existing AB framework. --Fred the Oyster (留言) 20:14, 22 October 2014 (UTC)
