Star size

May somebody please decrease the size of the star field? They take up almost all of the canton, when there is supposed to be a little buffer space along the border left over. Illegitimate Barrister (talk) 08:27, 16 February 2013 (UTC)

I guess the problem is that with that row design, the stars are going to be spaced together much more closely horizontally than vertically, so the SVG author was trying to make it less obvious... 51 is only divisible by 17 and 3, so you can't avoid having six rows if you want to stick to a regular symmetric rectangular or quincunx arrangement. I don't think it's possible to produce a fully symmetrical etc. star positioning inside a canton of those proportions using that arrangement, and no alternative better arrangement of 51 stars immediately suggests itself... AnonMoos (talk) 21:08, 25 February 2013 (UTC)
