On the descriptions on the right side, the "cubed" superscript 3 should be on the inside of the parentheses, not the outside. For example, for Pinatubo 1991, "(~10km)³" would mathematically mean "~1000km³", when you actually mean to say "~10km³". The previous versions of the graphic had it right. I don't know why you made it incorrect. --67.169.97.192 20:50, 10 April 2011 (UTC)[回覆]

Well spotted. Yes, the superscripts should be inside the parentheses. In fact, at least as rendered by my Chrome browser, they are where they should be in all three versions of the svg file. (Click on the "Full resolution" link or the thumbnails below to see this.) However the PNG thumbnails seem to put the superscripts outside, and those thumbnails are what Wikipedia readers see. This problem is due to inconsistencies between the SVG editor used and MediaWiki's rsvg renderer. This is apparently a well known issue, but I wasn't aware of it. I have tweaked the svg file so that rsvg will display it correctly. --Avenue (talk) 01:33, 11 April 2011 (UTC)[回覆]
