the description of the photo states that it is dated 29 january 1912. This seems impossible since the treaty of Sèvres was signed 10 august 1920. my question is whether the date is wrong, or maybe the date is correct but venizelos is actually signing the treaty of london, which was negotiated in 1912? does anyone know? thanks, Stella

A slight misunderstanding here: the date is the upload date for Commons, and is "2012", not "1912" ;). So yes, the photo is definitely from the signing of the Sevres Treaty, there are other photos from the ceremony with other participants in the same setting (e.g. Sevres signing.jpg).
