Wombat? Snow?

What is this wombat doing in the snow? It doesn't snow anywhere in the wombat's native Australia, does it??? Was this taken in a zoo somewhere else? I'm surprised that the wombat is okay in the cold! 69.143.228.172 06:38, 25 February 2008 (UT

May i add a comment to this? i highly doubt this photo was taken in a zoo, although it is possible. but either way Mr Wombat would be fine, happy and warm, the common wombats distribution is mainly in the southern end of the county including in tasmania where it is quite close to antartica. just because australia is known as the desert doenst mean it doesnt snow. have you ever heard of the snowy mountains, or the man from snowy river???
