User:RamzyAbueita uploaded a version of this image that has the IAEA flag atom on it as well. I reverted it for the following reasons:

  1. the IAEA flag atom is not a common representation of an atom. It is very specific to the IAEA flag and very stylized.
  2. the atom, by itself, is not a "warning sign" of any sort. It doesn't mean "danger" like the other images.
  3. there is already the standard radioactive hazard trifoil on the image, which covers both nuclear weapons and "dirty bombs"
  4. the IAEA's atom is meant to represent the peaceful possibilities of the atom (even if the IAEA's role has been most prominent as an anti-proliferation watchdog).

So anyway. That's why I reverted it. No hard feelings. --Fastfission (talk) 11:49, 1 July 2008 (UTC)[回复]
