This graphic is mystifying to me. It creates more confusion than it resolves, and I think it should be removed. Some concerns:

  1. The ppt values aren't to scale. This is the only egregious issue.
  2. The water bottle in the graphic adds nothing, other than fitting the theme of "water." It's confusing that the same water bottle image is next to both "fresh/drinking water" and "briny water," when a bottle like this is associated with drinking water only.
  3. The biome images don't really make sense. I get the idea, but the execution is confusing. the line for the label reading "Drinking water" is passing through what looks like a muddy swamp. The "Baltic Sea" label line is passing through grass. What is the "50+ ppt" image supposed to be?
