The date is known, not unknown. It's the wedding photo of Belinda Chung Guat-Hooi, my aunt. She is the elder sister of my mother and the daughter of Capitan Chung Thye Phin and grand daughter of Capitan Chung Keng Quee (see my Wikipedia entries on the two of them). The groom is Khoo Soo Beow, son of Khoo Heng Pan and the two boys are my uncles George Chung Kok-Chuan and Henry Chung Kok-Tong. The photo was taken in May 1941. The location is known, too. This photo was taken at No 29 Church Street Penang, formerly the townhouse of Capitan Chung Keng Quee built in 1895, and bought over around 2005 by Lilian and Peter Soon and turned into what is known today as the Pinang Peranakan Mansion, a tourist destination.
