Hello, I've recently uploaded a new version of the map correcting a couple of mistakes: - The Kingdom of Pamplona, predecessor of Navarre, was independent at the time, it had belonged to the March formally but its vassalage and dependence to the Franks had ended before 843. By that time, it was formally paying tribute to the Umayyads in Qurtuba but in rebellion against them, therefore not being in any form a part of the Frankish March of Hispania. - The Hispanic March itself wasn't well located: it showed, as autonomous, areas that weren't controlled by the Franks (for example, Zaragoza, Tudela or Tortosa, under the Qurtubans) and showed at the same time the actual march (all the lands south of the Pyrenees) as an integral part of Francia, which is a completely wrong depiction. I understand that the map used as sources also had the same mistake. However, if you look at the actual data, the dates of conquest and the extent of Frankish control over northern Catalonia & Aragon, and the rest of the maps which show the area at the same time, you'll see the correct borders. I hope this correction is accurate and any mistake can be corrected. Wario2 (留言) 14:07, 9 June 2023 (UTC)[回复]
