@Goszei: what evidence do you have that this is Kasuga's work, and/or not 陈少举's? Arlo James Barnes 03:53, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- The drawing is an exact art style match, and the original file upload carries the "She is available under GNU Free Documentation License." message that Kasuga included on all of his early Wikipe-tan drawings (see the earliest file revisions of these: [1] [2] [3] [4] [5] [6]). Also, this is a little-known fact, but Kasuga actually included his signature on each of these early drawings, always somewhere on Wikipe-tan's clothes, with a difference in color that is invisible to the naked eye. This can be verified by using the bucket tool in any image editing software (the signature in this one is on her swimsuit). Lastly, 陈少举 made no claim of ownership in the page's earliest revision ([7]); I believe that they perhaps downloaded the image from 2chan's /q/ oekaki board just like User:Shii did to obtain the first Wikipe-tan drawing. — Goszei (talk) 04:15, 22 January 2022 (UTC)
- That is a very satisfactory answer, thank you. The hidden signature bit is interesting trivia as well; I uploaded a demonstration as file:Kasuga hidden signature.png to help make the fact somewhat less little-known, and will add your other examples to it later.
