Italy didn't receive South Tyrol until the Treaty of Versailles.

It is Austria-Hungary but not Ukraine. 203.185.57.72 20:41, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[回覆]

Philippines[編輯]

The Philippines were ceded by Spain to the United States in 1898. Shouldn't this map reflect that fact? Nerevarine of Vvardenfell (talk) 04:13, 1 March 2010 (UTC)[回覆]

africa map[編輯]

several problems with africa map. the depiction of german kameroon is the way it was in 1914, not 1898, for example. Italian somaliland was also smaller. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 64.202.87.52 (talk) 18:52, 25 January 2017 (UTC)[回覆]

Vancouver Island[編輯]

Why is Vancouver Island shown as part of the US? It was never US and joined Canada in 1871. Cashewnøtt (留言) 12:13, 18 January 2018 (UTC)[回覆]

I noticed this as well and I think it’s worth fixing. The English Wikipedia page for the 1846 Oregon Treaty explicitly addresses the issue of Vancouver Island (as does the text of the treaty). — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 2601:646:C001:B040:A8B4:5108:1904:15D7 (talk) 07:21, 24 March 2018 (UTC)[回覆]

China[編輯]

Why does China have its own color? It implies that China was a colonial power, which couldn't be further from the truth. While China still had own territory, it was heavily colonized by the Eight-Nation Alliance through preposterous treaties. --147.142.158.250 11:24, 18 October 2018 (UTC)[回覆]

East Timor[編輯]

Why is w:East Timor shown as part of the w:Kingdom of the Netherlands? East Timor was part of the Portuguese colonial empire from 1769 to 1975.
