This map represents norway wrong, it was free 1905 and its own country, along with svalbard

Spain color is totally wrong and misleading

I didn't realise that the Italians managed to conquer all of European Spain before the first World War. I have searched the web for the second reconquista, but so far all I've come across is a blank wall. Poor map for non-expert reader; flags must be replaced with names of empires

Future improvements to this map will have to replace the flags with the names of the empires. As revisions to the image show, using the flags to interpret this already complex map makes it inaccessible to Wikipedia's intended audience, the non-expert reader. Thank you.
