I think the primary and secondary cell walls are mixed up – the secondary cell wall is between the primary cell wall and the plasma membrane (see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Secondary_cell_wall). This puts the primary cell wall between the secondary cell wall of the vessel element and the secondary cell wall of the thrakeid. This is also consistent with the text, saying "In pits, the secondary cell wall is thin or missing". Or am I mistaken? Mehinger (留言) 16:11, 26 July 2017 (UTC)[回复]
