Naval mine

English: A naval mine (or sea mine) is a stationary self-contained explosive device placed in water, to destroy ships and/or submarines. Like landmines, they are static weapons deposited and left to wait until they are triggered by the approach of an enemy ship (cf depth charge).

Polski: Mina morska to środek walki morskiej, przeznaczony do rażenia podwodnej części kadłuba okrętu. Składa się z ładunku materiału wybuchowego umieszczonego w kulistym lub cylindrycznym kadłubie wodoszczelnym, wyposażonego w urządzenia zapalające i zabezpieczające.

Português: A mina é um artefato explosivo, em geral estacionário, que é ativado ao toque de uma pessoa, veículo ou embarcação.
