The Emperor's New Clothes

English: The Emperor's New Clothes is a Danish fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen and first published in 1837, as part of Eventyr, Fortalte for Born (Fairy Tales, Told for Children).

文言：皇帝之新衣，小說也，丹麥人安徒生所著。文中所述，始於衣匠二人，晉見其君，言有新衣，非智者不可見、無適其位者不可睹。帝欣納而衣之巡狩，臣民緘默，無有直言主上裸露者，蓋懼愚眛之稱、怠忽職守之謂也。及終，稚子無畏，呼曰︰「聖上裸露而行。」此小說譯本逾百，後世每以之喻自欺欺人者。
