Yucca Mountain

English: Yucca Mountain is a ridge-line in Nye County, Nevada; composed of volcanic material (mostly tuff) ejected from a now-extinct caldera-forming supervolcano. It is a proposed site for a national nuclear waste repository.

Tunnel boring
