A tovero is a pinto horse with both tobiano characteristics combined with strong frame or splash overo patterns that result in horses with more white than dark markings, but with dark pigmentation around the ears, possibly as low as the eyes, at least one blue eye, dark around the mouth, chest spots, flank spots, some other random body spots, especially on the hindquarters.[1]
