You may enable gadgets (custom features) for your account. There are several tools to upload files. Have you edited Wikipedia before? This guide might be useful. Made a mistake? Do you want to have a file renamed or moved? Use the move link and wait for an authorized user to rename it. Do you want to have your recently uploaded picture removed? Photo removed from List of historical societies

The photo you posted was removed. Two issues, the first is it still under copyright and was incorrectly labeled as created before 1926. There is no Freedom of panorama in the U.S.. Second, is the appropriateness of the photo for its representation for Ohio historical societies. Given the photos available Ohio historical societies in Wikimedia Commons, a stronger and more representational image could be found that does not violate copyright. Hi Myotus, I think you are mistaken here. Freedom of panorama is not relevant to this photo, as it is only depicting a plaque with no copyrightable content. There are many thousands of these (from the US) on Commons. Also, the PD template used does not state it was created before 1926. You might want to check out {{PD-US}} again, as this is just the general PD template for the United States. {{PD-US-expired}} is the template you are thinking of, while the one used on that photo merely says "often because its first publication occurred prior to January 1, 1926". @Myotus: I will concede the second point but just want to mention that the photograph is very much in the Public Domain, the rights statement in Wikimedia Commons was automatically generated but if you follow the record to its original location you will see it has a http://creativecommons.org/publicdomain/zero/1.0/ CC0 Public Domain Dedication (I took the photograph and assigned that dedication). It is genuinely appreciated to know that those rights statements are being lumped in with things that are simply being identified as being in the public domain, thank you!
