English: The oldest surviving part is the Romanesque portal at the base of the tower which is of the 12th or 13th century. The north aisle is of the same period. The great hall-like nave was constructed in 1658 in the form of an overturned boat in memory of St. Peter's boat. The tower was finished in 1825. Stained glass windows were added in 1885, most of them depict the life of Saint Peter. (See inscription in the porch and this historic summary by the Parioisse Notre-Dame du Val de Saire.)
