1949 Aston Martin DB2 prototype chassis LML/49/4, the 4th of the first 4 prototypes, known as "Le Mans Fixed Head Coupes". First registered with the 3 others on April 26, 1949. Painted in the maroon color, whereas the 3 others were "Cadillac Green". The second to wear a Lagonda 6-cylinder engine.[1] Owned by David Brown for a few months in 1949/50 with UK license "UMC 272".[2] Seems to in the 2020s have the original license plate and body look, but was rebuilt after a crash in Targa Florio in early 1950s by owner Lance Macklin. Was auctioned for USD 1,5 million in 2017.
