English: Anna Moore Hubbell (1790-1861), American textile artist. Born in Champlain, New York; the daughter of Judge Pliny Moore of Champlain, wealthy landowner, judge, and Revolutionary War veteran, she studied at Sarah Pierce's Female Academy in Litchfield, Connecticut. On January 27, 1812 she married Julius Caesar Hubbell, a lawyer and politician, from Lanesborough, Massachusetts. She died on May 14, 1861, in Chazy, New York.
