- English: There are 11 aqueducts on the Chesapeake and Ohio Canal itself. In addition, there was the aqueduct bridge that connected it with the Alexandria Canal (Virginia).
Note that the Broad Run Trunk was not originally considered an aqueduct but a double culvert, and was listed as such on Canal records.
