The Blue Angel, Seel Street, Liverpool, is the birthplace of William Henry Duncan, Liverpool's (and indeed England's) first Medical Officer of Health. In the 1960s it was a noted music venue, holding performances by Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones and many others. It is, in 2018, a nightclub popular with local students.
