English: There are two bascule bridges on Cherry Street, in Toronto, in the Portlands. The more northerly is over the Keating Channel, the canalized outlet of the Don River. In the middle of the Portlands there is a turning basin. Cherry Street crosses a channel to the turning basin, and a larger bridge there crosses this deeper channel.
