English: D5386 was put into service by British Rail in May 1962. It was modified to work push-pull services so received TOPS number 27103 in April 1974. Fitted with electric train heating it became 27212 in March 1975. Push-pull equipment was removed in January 1982 so it was renumbered again as 27066 and was withdrawn in July 1987. It is now preserved.
