The Bugga Ramalingeswara temple, sometimes referred to as the Bugga temple of Tadpatri or Rameswaraswamy temple of Tadipatri, is multi-shrine complex. It was built in the last quarter of the 15th-century during the Vijayanagara Empire era, near the Pennar river where it auspiciously turns north towards the Himalayas. It is the oldest surviving temple in Tadipatri.

The temple is notable for integrating major shrines of Shaiva, Vaishnava and Shakti traditions of Hinduism. A shrine with Shiva linga, one for Parasurama and one for Rama of Ramayana fame (Vishnu avatars), and shrines for Durga and Sita, along with reverential inclusion of Ganesha are a hallmark of this temples complex. The temple is also notable for its extensive though damaged reliefs with scenes from the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. The northern gopura is exquisitely carved with Vedic and Puranic deities along with scenes of kama, artha and dharma. The top portion appears partially torn down, and is locally believed to be either left haphazardly incomplete or the remnant of destruction and desecration of the 17th-century. Another notable feature is an underground perennial stream that naturally flows over the rock that has a form of a Shiva lingam in one of the shrine's sanctum (svayambhu-linga, and the basis for the "Bugga" name).
