Ahobilam is a village and the western-side entrance to a major South Indian pilgrimage site in the Nallamala forest and hills of Andhra Pradesh, India. The Ahobilam site is mentioned in the Vaishnavism-related Sanskrit Puranas and the Tamil texts such as the Kanchi-mahatyma as the Navanarasimha-kshetra pilgrimage site (nine Narasimha temples region). The site consists of the Lower Ahobilam that is closer to the plains and the village, and the Upper Ahobilam with nine temples in the hills and forest, all dedicated to Narasimha avatar of Vishnu in the context of Prahlada–Hiranyakasipu mythology (the Narasimha avatar is ancient, found in the Brahmana layer of the Vedas, c. 900 BCE).

The nine Upper Ahobilam temples are:

1. Ahobilanarasiṃha Swamy temple,
2. Yoganandanarasimha temple,
3. Bhargavanarasiṃha temple,
4. Chatravatanarasiṃha temple,
5. Pavananarasimha temple,
6. Karanjanarasimha temple,
7. Malolanarasimha temple,
8. Varahanarasimha temple,
9. Jvalanarasimha temple.
