A part of the Archaeological Park is locally called Church of the Virgin. This church was built over a hall with striking mosaics of Hippolytus (from the mid-6th century). The church was created in the early 7th century, but the floor was covered with a new mosaic in 767 by a bishop Theophanes with a geometric-epigraphic composition.
