English:  : Church of the Transfiguration of Jesus Christ. Irsa's first Catholic church was built in honor of St. Margaret ordered by Margit Irsay (born in 1379). József Zlinszky rebuilt it in 1744-46, partly using the existing walls, and also placed his family tomb in the church (grave plaque can be see on rh SE facade). It was enlarged in 1858 and at this time built the sacristy and above it the so-called "Szapáry-oratorium". An unknown master painted the altarpiece "The Transfiguration of Christ" above the main altar. The new main altar (1848?) placed the relics of the martyrs of St. Placidi, Severiani et Generosi M M. The red marble baptismal font donated by Károly Reviczky de revisnyei. The relief family coat of arms of the Zlinyszky was built on the wall of the right side of the sanctuary. The parish priest János Wághely (1855-1873) plaque is on the sanctuary wall. - circa 29 Köztársaság Street, Irsa neighborhood, Albertirsa, Pest County, Hungary.
