English: The East Campus Memorial Housing, also known as MIT Buildings 62 and 64, located at 3 Ames Street in Cambridge Massachusetts, consists of two buildings, the "East Parallel" (MIT Building 62) and the "West Parallel" (MIT Building 64). Each building has three sections, or "houses" – although the houses' interiors are integrated by the corridors that connect them – named after MIT alumni. From north to south, the houses are: Building 62 - Wood, Hayden, Munroe; Building 64 - Goodale, Bemis, Walcott. The buildings were designed by William Welles Bosworth in the Neoclassical style. The first house of Building 62 was built in 1924, and the remainder in 1928, while Building 64 was built in 1931.
