English: Elis at Erymanthus is a rectangular slice jutting NE into Achaea, comprising half the Municipality of Ancient Olympia. The NE border divides an irregular massif of ridges and peaks loosely called "Mount Erymanthos," over which a Natura 2000 region is defined. The peaks and ridges to be included in the definition are to some degree a matter of opinion. Moreover, the border crosses over some peaks, which are then on either side. Everyone agrees that Olonos Peak, the highest, at 2,224 m (7,297 ft), is in the range, but it is split between Elis and Achaea. Media for "Mount Erymanthos" is covered under two main categories here. Where a given photograph or subcategory belongs is often an arbitrary decision, based on either camera location or object location, especially since the two may be far apart in scenic views.
