English: Flexibus Ltd was incorporated in 1966, and was based in Belfast, northern Ireland. It was presumably either created by, or at some point taken over by, the state owned Northern Ireland Transport Holding Company, itself established in 1967, and which took over the Belfast Corporation buses in 1967. When the NITHC rebranded as Translink in 1997, Flexibus retained its identity within the Translink empire, alongside the much larger subsidiaries of Citybus (rebranded Metro in 2006) inside Belfast, and Ulsterbus outside of it. It apparently operated the dial-a-ride and other special services not run by Citybus/Metro, such as the Eastside park&ride, the Gasworks free shuttle, the 100 Centrelink service, the MarketLink service, and various airport shuttle services. Its fleet comprised smaller vehicles, both minibuses and midibuses, with various liveries & brand names being used over the years. Its operations were run down during 2008, with all vehicles having been formally re-allocated to either Ulsterbus or Metro by October 2008.
