Fontaine de Jean-Jacques Rousseau, Ruffieu, Nivolas-Vermelle (Isère)[edit]
English: At the time of the philosopher, this fountain was only a captured source that flowed in a hollow trunk, but the man with the cap of astrakhan had ranked in second position behind that of Tireluc for the quality of its water. En 1860, les habitants du quartier ayant les droits d'eau s'étaient cotisés pour lui donner sa forme actuelle et la doter d'un triomphe et d'auges en pierre.
