English: Greenland Lake, located at the east, and at the connecting neck (isthmus) of the Walhalla Plateau, from the extreme southeast of the Kaibab Plateau.

The Greenland Spring is opposite the lake to the west, in (the upper terminus)-Upper Bright Angel Canyon (adjacent the west Walhalla Plateau isthmus). The hydrology of the east Kaibab Plateau & Walhalla Plateau (a sub-plateau) is resulted from the w:karst-like geology of Kaibab Limestone, which easily passes water infiltration into the water aquafir. Greenland Spring (& other springs) & Greenland Lake are products of that aquafir.
