Deutsch: Gudegastkoppel in Kiel-Pries wurde angelegt als Frenssenstraße nach dem schleswig-holsteinischer Erzähler Gustav Frenssen (* 1863; † 1945), der ein engagierter Befürworter nationalsozialistischer Idelogien war.
Die Straße wurde 2011 in Ringelnatzstraße und Gudegastkoppel umbenannt.
Die Gudegastkoppel erinnert an den Prieser Schlossermeister Fritz Gudegast (* 27. Oktober 1905 in Pries, † 6. Mai 1962 in Kiel), der 1939 einen Schlossereibetrieb von seinem Vater übernahm. Das Hintergelände seines Grundstücks in der Friedrichsorter Straße ließ Fritz Gudegast ab 1956 mit einer Wohnanlage bebauen.English: 'Gudegastkoppel is a street in in Kiel-Pries and was laid out as Frenssenstraße after the Schleswig-Holstein writer Gustav Frenssen (* 1863; † 1945), who was a committed supporter of National Socialist ideology.
In 2011, the street was renamed Ringelnatzstraße and Gudegastkoppel.
The Gudegastkoppel commemorates the Pries master locksmith Fritz Gudegast (* October 27, 1905 in Pries, † May 6, 1962 in Kiel), who took over a locksmith business from his father in 1939.
