Handley-Knight and Handley automobiles were built in Kalamazoo from 1920-1921, and 1921-1922 respectively. They were large and luxurious cars, but failed to sell sufficiently. Its workshop was bought by Morris Markin, who installed here manufacture of the Checker taxicabs.
